German Foreign Minister Guido Westerwelle stated that Germany is ready to give technical support for the destroying process of Syrian chemical weapons stockpiles.
In a written statement, Westerwelle demanded the agreement between Russia and the US concerning Syrian chemical weapons to be realized timely and permanently.
Stating that Germany supports the Russian and American plan of taking control of the chemicals in Syria, Westerwelle indicated that the UN Security Council and Organization for Prohibition of Chemical Weapons played a key role in the ongoing process.
