CAIRO (AA) - Palestinian Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh on Wednesday said, "the Gaza Strip is ready to welcome (Turkish) Prime Minister (Recep Tayyip) Erdogan."
"Erdogan told us that he really want to come to Gaza and if nothing unexpected happens he would come to Gaza," Haniyeh said during a visit to the office of Turkish journalists in Gaza over Erdogan's plans to visit the Gaza Strip.
Haniyeh reminded he had a "successful visit" to Ankara on June 18, adding that his meeting with Erdogan discussed regional issues.
