A gunman with a semi-automatic rifle fired at vehicles leaving four people dead and wounding several others in Santa Monica city of California, United States.
Police Chief Jaqueline Seabrooks said the gunman with a semi-automatic rifle first opened fire on a city bus, a police car and other vehicles, as well as bystanders and pedestrians, then he entered the Santa Monica College library and fired at people but did not hit anyone.
“The officers came in and directly engaged the suspect and he was shot and killed on the scene,” said Seabrooks.
The shooter was reported to have first shot dead his father and brother at home following an argument.
