Fire breaks out at Moscow construction site
Russia's Emergency Situations Ministry says fire near Afimall City shopping center in central Moscow extinguished, with no injuries reported

ISTANBUL
Russian emergency workers extinguished a fire that broke out near an administrative building along Presnenskaya Embankment in central Moscow on Wednesday, the country’s Emergency Situations Ministry said.
The blaze, initially reported as a car fire in an underground parking area, was later clarified to involve construction materials at a site adjacent to the Afimall City shopping center, according to the ministry.
Fire and rescue teams quickly responded, containing the fire across an area of 30 square meters. Authorities confirmed that there were no casualties.
The incident occurred in a busy business district, but operations in the area have since returned to normal.
Afimall City, a major retail and business complex, is located within the Moscow International Business Center, commonly known as “Moscow City,” a hub for corporate offices and commercial activity.
