ATHENS
Greek economy can return to its pre-crisis state within seven years if the government sticks to reforms, Prime Minister Antonis Samaras said Tuesday.
Samaras revealed the details of a new development plan in a campaign speech for the upcoming European elections in Athens.
"Unemployment will be reduced significantly in four years, bringing a rise in wages," he said.
He underscored that tourism, energy and technology would be the main focuses of development.
Greece was hit by a financial crisis that shrank the country’s economy by 23 percent between 2008 and 2013.
