The European Union has asked all sides that partook in the agreement aimed at relieving tensions in Ukraine to respect it.
EU spokesperson, Michael Mann said, “we call on all sides to implement what was written in the Geneva agreement."
Responding to a question on whether more sanctions will be imposed on Russia if the agreement is not implemented, Mann added that "the process is still underway. What happens in terms of sanctions is very much dependent on what happens on the ground in Ukraine."
Russia, Ukraine, U.S. and the EU signed an agreement in Geneva, aimed at calming tensions in Ukraine. One of the key points of the agreement was the disarmament of militias and paramilitary units in the country.
