Egypt's President Abdel-Fattah al-Sisi returned home from New York on Friday after participating in the U.N. General Assembly meetings.
During his five-day stay, al-Sisi delivered a speech at the U.N. General Assembly and held talks with a host of participating leaders, including U.S. President Barack Obama, British Prime Minister David Cameron and French President Francois Hollande as well as U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon.
He also addressed the U.N. Climate Summit, which was held on the sidelines of the U.N. General Assembly meetings.
Al-Sisi, a former army chief who is seen as the main architect of last year's ouster of Islamist president Mohamed Morsi, was elected president in May.
