CAIRO (AA) - Egyptian security forces dispersed late Tuesday a protest staged by scores of pro-democracy protesters inside the iconic Tahrir Square.
Tens of protesters converged on the square earlier this evening and started chanting anti-army slogans.
"Military coup is terrorism" and "down down with military rule" chanted the young protesters.
Shortly after, a group of unidentified people started throwing stones at the peaceful protesters.
The two sides exchanged stone-throwing for half an hour before security forces were deployed.
At least four protesters have been detained by security forces.
