Egypt's deputy foreign minister attended the third Turkey-Africa Partnership Summit that was held in Istanbul.

Speaking at the summit, Hamdi Sanad Loza said that participating countries would contribute to regional development, stability and security, an Egyptian Foreign Ministry statement said on Saturday.

The deputy foreign minister also touched upon the cooperation between Turkey and Egypt in the fields of mutual trade, investment and tourism, the statement added.

On Sept. 7-8, the second round of consultations between the delegations headed by Sedat Onal, Turkey’s deputy foreign minister and his Egyptian counterpart, were held in the capital Ankara.
