Sources told the Anadolu Agency (AA) that the Turkish Consulate General in Aleppo will continue functioning with minimum staff.
The Turkish Embassy in Damascus had suspended its activities on March 26 while the Consulate General in Aleppo continued to provide services.
On Tuesday, the Syrian Foreign Ministry decided to declare the U.S., French, British, Swiss, Turkish, Italian and Spanish ambassadors and the charge d'affaires of Belgium, Bulgaria, Germany and Canada as "persona non grata" even though they were not in Syria.
