FRANKFURT (AA) - A coalition government in Germany will be more effective, said European Commission Chief Jose Manuel Barroso in a speech in St. Paul's Church in Frankfurt, expressing his expectations from the new government.
Barroso said that euro isn't the reason of economic crisis in Europe, underlining the results of debts of financial markets. "After euro circulation, Germany's annual growth increased 0.5 percent," said European Commission chief.
President of Hessen State Volker Bouffier underlined that EU is a fraternity project. "EU values such as freedom, democracy and rule of law can be a model for other countries," he said.
