WASHINGTON
An annual poll revealed Monday that U.S. Democratic presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton was the woman most admired by Americans in 2015 for a record 20th time.
Some 13 percent of Americans named the former secretary of state their most admired woman, according to the Gallup poll.
And while U.S. President Barack Obama (17 percent) claimed the honor for the eighth time, Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump ranked second, sharing the same percentage (5 percent) as Pope Francis.
Trump has made the top 10 five times in 2015, 2011, 1990, 1989 and 1988.
The survey of 824 adults was conducted via telephone between Dec. 2 and 6.
