SHANGHAI (AA) - The free trade area in China's economy and finance center Shanghai city will officially enter into service on September 29.
The zone went through necessarry audits in investment administration, trade charter and provisions, where no obstacle existed anymore in front of it.
The free zone to be built on nearly 29 kilometers area will consist of four parts, which are "Waigaoqiao Free Trade Area, Waigaoqiao Customs Logistics Park, Yangshan Customs Port and Pudong Airport covered Free Area."
The project became valid after the Chinese Prime Minister Li Keqiang approved it with the decision of Chinese National People Congress.
The area will provide free currency trade, tax exemption and export promotions for both domestic and foreign investors in Shanghai's Pudong region.
