KABUL
A car bomb attack killed three people Wednesday in the southern Afghan province of Helmand.
Spokesperson of the Helmand Governorate Omar Zuvak said a car bomb was detonated when a convoy of NATO and Afghan soldiers on patrol approached in Lashkar Gah, Helmand's capital city.
Zuvak provided no further details whether NATO and Afghan soldiers were among the casualties.
There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the attack.
