BANOVICI (AA) - Six thousand people are still living under difficult conditions in 101 refugee camps despite 18 years after the end of the war in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
People of all ages have been living in Visca Refugee Camp, in Banovici, a town in northeastern Bosnia.
Jamali Delalic, one of the residents of the camp, said he had lived with his family in the village of Dobraka near Srebrenica before the civil war by adding:
"I lost my three sons in Srebrenica Genocide in July 1995 and have been living with my wife and five daughters in this camp since then until today."
The Bosnian War in Bosnia and Herzegovina was an international armed conflict that took place in Bosnia and Herzegovina between 1 March 1992 and 14 December 1995.
The most recent figures suggest that around 100,000 people were killed during the war. In addition, over 2.2 million people were displaced.
