ISTANBUL

Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov held a telephone conversation with his United Arab Emirates counterpart, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, to discuss a range of issues including the strategic partnership between the two countries.

According to Azerbaijan's Foreign Ministry on Friday, the talks held a day prior focused on the current state of bilateral relations and prospects for further cooperation within the framework of the strategic partnership.

The ministers exchanged views on coordination and interaction within international organizations.

Bayramov and Sheikh Abdullah also discussed the regional and international security situation, addressing developments of mutual concern.
