AL-QUDS
An Arab village in southern Israel on Tuesday declared a general strike to protest the confiscation of Palestinian land by Israeli authorities, eyewitnesses have said.
"The strike has paralyzed Al-Lakiya village [in the Negev region]," witnesses told Anadolu Agency.
There was no comment by Israeli authorities on the strike, which was called for by a Palestinian NGO.
On Monday, Israeli bulldozers destroyed farmland in the village.
