No information given in presidential statement on when Abdelmadjid Tebboune will be discharged from hospital
ALGERIA
Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune Tebboune completed treatment for COVID-19 in a German hospital Sunday.
"President Tebboune has completed the treatment protocol recommended by doctors," the Algerian presidency said in a statement.
The statement did not say when Tebboune, 74, would leave the hospital.
Tebboune announced that he had quarantined himself on Oct. 24 after some senior officials in his entourage developed COVID-19 symptoms.
A statement from the presidency on Oct. 28 said Tebboune had gone to Germany for some extensive tests.
Later statements said that Tebboune's health was improving.
