Forces loyal to the Syrian president used heavy weapons in their operations against opponents in various cities Wednesday killing 58 people including 9 children and 11 women.
In a statement, Syria National Human Rights Watchdog (SNHR) said the regime forces raided the opposition controlled areas and killed 30 people in Aleppo, 11 in Dera, 7 at the suburbs of Damascus, 5 in Idlib, 2 in Hama, and 1 each in Homs, el-Haseke and Deru’z Zor.
The Local Coordination Committees (LCC) of Syria reported that Syrian army helicopters dropped several barrel bombs on Aleppo during the attacks and many buildings were damaged and demolished.
Meanwhile Islamic Front and Syrian army said that there were heavy clashes between opposition and Assad forces in Aleppo.
