KABUL (AA) – At least 36 Taliban militants were killed and 18 others were wounded in joint operations led by Afghan and NATO forces across the country on Monday.
Afghan Interior Ministry said 15 militants were seized in operations conducted in Helmand, Paktiya, Wardak, Kandahar, Baghlan and Kunar provinces of Afghanistan.
One person was killed in a bomb attack when a bomb placed in a car detonated in the Afghan capital, Kabul.
Another bomb attack, in southern Afghanistan killed one person from the International Security Assistance Force (ISAF), a NATO-led security mission in Afghanistan.
