Two Palestinians, including a one-year old child, were injured in Israeli raids on the Gaza Strip early Friday.
A 30-year old Palestinian youth and a one-year old child sustained shrapnel wounds in the strikes, Health Ministry spokesman Ashraf al-Qodrah told Anadolu Agency.
The Israeli army said that warplanes hit five targets in the north and center of the Gaza Strip in response to rocket attacks from the strip into southern Israel.
The army said that four of the targets were in the north of the Gaza Strip and one was in the center.
Palestinian sources said the Israeli strikes targeted outposts of Hamas' military wing and launching pits in the strip, according to Yediot Aharonot newspaper.
