Ten shopping malls have been evacuated in Russian capital Moscow due to bomb threat reports, the country’s Ministry of Emergencies said on Wednesday.
Several thousand people were asked to leave the buildings after receiving anonymous bomb threat calls, the ministry said in a statement.
Later, security inspectors searched the buildings found no explosive material.
A wave of such calls had pushed Russia to evacuate more than 2.5 million people from 4,000 buildings from September to December in 2017.
