Türkiye's BIST 100 up at opening session

Türkiye's benchmark stock index opened Monday at 14,446.29 points, increasing by 0.26% or 37.22 points.

At the last week's close, the BIST 100 rose by 0.51% to 14,409.07 points, with a daily transaction volume of 169.5 billion liras ($3.76 billion).

As of 10.05 am local time (0705GMT), exchange rates stood at 45.0340 Turkish liras to the US dollar, 52.8880 to the euro, and 61.0303 to the British pound.

The price of an ounce of gold was $4,717.20, while Brent crude futures were trading at $107.5 per barrel.
