Türkiye's BIST 100 index opens Friday on high note
Benchmark index earns 34.26 points at opening bell

ISTANBUL (AA) - Türkiye's benchmark stock index opened the last trading day of the week at 11,116.89 points, up 0.31%, or 34.26 points, from the previous close.
On Thursday, Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 dropped 1.23% to close at 11,082.63 points, with a daily transaction volume of 135.8 billion Turkish liras ($3.26 billion).
As of 09.50 am local time (0650GMT), exchange rates stood at 41.6835 liras to the US dollar, 48.8885 to the euro, and 56.0590 to the British pound.
The price of an ounce of gold was $3,857.60, while Brent crude oil was trading at $64.65 per barrel.
