Turkish parliament speaker to visit Turkmenistan
Numan Kurtulmus will participate in forum in Turkmen capital, expected to meet top officials
ANKARA
Turkish Parliament Speaker Numan Kurtulmus will pay a two-day visit to Turkmenistan starting from Thursday, his office said.
Kurtulmus will participate in the forum, The Interconnection of Times and Civilizations – the Basis of the Modern World and Development, in Turkmenistan's capital Ashgabat on the 300th birth anniversary of the famous Turkmen poet Mahdumkulu Firaki.
Kurtulmus will also hold bilateral meetings, visit the Turkmen parliament, and meet his Turkmen counterpart Dunyagozel Gulmanova.
Kurtulmus is also expected to meet Chairman of the People's Council of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow and Turkmen President Serdar Berdymukhammedov.
