Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan on Thursday met with Qatari Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.

According to Turkish diplomatic sources, Fidan held talks with the emir during his visit to Qatar.

Earlier, he also visited the Qatar-Türkiye Joint Combined Forces Command Headquarters.

Fidan is on a tour to regional countries to discuss possible steps to the ongoing war in the Middle East.

The tour came amid rapidly intensifying regional instability since the joint US-Israeli offensive on Iran started on Feb. 28, along with Tehran’s subsequent retaliatory strikes across multiple countries in the region.
