Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan on Thursday met UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres in Ankara, Turkish diplomatic sources said.

No additional details were immediately available regarding the meeting.

Earlier this week, Guterres’ spokesperson said he would visit Ankara as part of his annual "solidarity trip" to "pay tribute to the extraordinary generosity of the Turkish people over many years."​​​​​​​
