Turkish firm Karmod delivers prefabricated cafe for Bursa Municipality Operator
Building can host up to 180 guests across indoor and outdoor areas and includes a dining hall, kitchen, and accessible restrooms
ISTANBUL
Turkish prefabricated buildings manufacturer Karmod has built a cafe for BURFAS, the social enterprise arm of Bursa Metropolitan Municipality, completing the B-Kafe project in the city’s Osmangazi district in just 13 days.
The Istanbul-based modular construction company said the building was developed using its light-steel prefabricated system, which is designed to offer sustainable, fast-to-assemble structures for cafes and restaurants.
“The light-steel system combines durability with speed,” said Yusuf Aktas, sales manager at Karmod. “It dramatically shortens construction times compared with conventional models, helping franchise operators launch new outlets faster and cut labor costs.”
The B-Kafe site can host up to 180 guests across indoor and outdoor areas and includes a dining hall, kitchen, and accessible restrooms.
Karmod said its prefabricated model is gaining traction in Türkiye’s growing hospitality sector, where faster build times and flexible design have become key advantages for investors and municipal operators.
