Turkish Central Bank likely to keep policy rate unchanged
Bank projected to keep rate at 46% next week, while year-end forecast is at 35.5%

ISTANBUL
Anadolu surveyed economists, who projected that the Turkish Central Bank would keep the policy interest rate at 46% next week.
Among 23 economists, 19 estimated that the policy rate would remain constant, while others projected a rise ranging from 100 to 350 basis points.
The Central Bank's current policy rate is 46%. In April, it increased the rate from 42.5% to 46%.
The average year-end forecast among the surveyed economists is 35.5%.
The bank's policy rate decision will be released on Thursday, June 19.
