The number of Turkish prefabricated building manufacturer Karmod's container construction site mobilization projects is increasing, according to sales manager Mustafa Soyalp.
In a statement Wednesday from the company, Soyalp said the increase in collective housing projects in Türkiye has significantly contributed to the rise in demand for container site mobilization structures.
Emphasizing that the activity in earthquake housing construction and urban transformation projects has also accelerated the increase, Soyalp said: "Our container structures provide practical solutions to the construction site needs of time-sensitive projects such as mass housing, with the advantage of quick installation.
"We have carried out numerous container site mobilizations for the construction of new housing units built in the region after the Kahramanmaras earthquake," said Soyalp.
He said the company is continuing container mobilization installations for new projects in the region without interruption.
In addition, there is a notable increase in demand for container site buildings for urban transformation projects carried out in major cities such as Istanbul, Ankara and Izmir, he added.
"During this period, we are producing and installing an average of six separate container mobilizations per month for large-scale housing projects," he noted.
Soyalp emphasized that the firm prepares container construction site structures for all construction site needs, including dormitories, dining halls, office buildings and health facilities.
Stating that overseas projects for container mobilization buildings are mainly carried out at mining sites, he said: "Our mining site container construction projects are continuing in Nigeria, Liberia, Morocco, and Senegal.”
"We are setting up construction site buildings for tourism facilities in Portugal, Malta, and France. We have also carried out new mobilizations for highway projects in Romania and Croatia," he added.
