ISTANBUL
The maritime transportation in Istanbul Strait on Monday was suspended in both directions due to fog, the Turkish Transport and Infrastructure Ministry said.
The ferry service is also unable to operate some routes due to adverse weather conditions.
The strait connects international ship traffic from the Black Sea to the Sea of Marmara and further on to the Mediterranean Sea.
