ISTANBUL
A 5.5-magnitude earthquake struck northern Türkiye’s Tokat province early Friday, the Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency (AFAD) reported.
The earthquake occurred at a depth of 6.37 kilometers (3.95 miles), according to AFAD.
No information on casualties or damage was immediately available.
