Speaking at the 6th meeting of the Turkey Sectoral Economy Council, Babacan said unemployment figures of Turkey would decrease as well as inflation in the upcoming term.
He said the current account deficit would not decrease sharply from now on and added that even in 2015 current account deficit would be around 6.5 percent. Babacan said that was because Turkey overcame cyclical issues but not structural issues yet and that would take some time.
Deputy premier Babacan said the budget deficit of Turkey would continue to decrease slowly in the upcoming term. He said they would continue to increase the primary balance. He added they expected debt stock defined by the EU to continue to decrease.
