GAZIANTEP
Ban's plane landed at an airport in the southeastern province of Gaziantep, where he was set to visit a refugee camp sheltering Syrians fleeing violence in their country.
Ban will meet later with Turkish President Abdullah Gul and Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
