Turkish citizens will cheer for BH football team in Brazil next year, said Turkish ambassador to Bosnia and Herzegovina Ahmet Yildiz on Saturday.
In his interview with Anadolu Agency (AA) Yildiz said that he was sad and happy at the same time on Tuesday night when BH football team beat LIthiania and qualified for World Cup next year, while Turkish team was defeated by the Netherlands.
"I always say that we can learn many things from Bosnia and Herzegovina, such as life style and harmony of tradition and modernity. Primarily, we can learn a lot about sports and art," said Yildiz, adding that average quality of BH sport is much better than Turkish.
"I expected placement of BH team to the WC. I think that Bosnian representatives will make good results in Brazil. Of course, we will cheer for them and they will represent us," said ambassador.
