WASHINGTON
Gen. Martin Dempsey welcomed Gen. Necdet Ozel with full military honors at the Department of Defense in Washington.
After the welcome ceremony, Ozel and Dempsey had a luncheon.
Ozel is paying a formal visit to Washington, and he will meet other commanders at the Pentagon later in the day.
Gen. Ozel is expected to have a meeting with U.S. Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta, and attend a dinner to be hosted by Gen. Dempsey and his spouse Deanie.
