ANKARA (AA) - August 26, 2012 - Turkish President Abdullah Gul remained at a university hospital in capital Ankara the third straight day Sunday as his ear condition continued improving, Gul's press office said.
Gul cut short his visit in Kyrgyzstan returned to Turkey on Thursday. He has been undergoing a treatment for a recurring problem in both ears at the Hacettepe University Hospital since then.
Azeri, Egyptian, Pakistani, Turkmen, Palestinian, Kyrgyz as well as Iranian and Iraqi counterparts have sent messages or telephoned Gul to wish him quick recovery.
