ISTANBUL (AA) - Turkish President Abdullah Gul left Thursday Saudi Arabia with the private plane 'CBK' and arrived in Turkey's Istanbul at 7:45 p.m..
Gul and his wife Hayrunnisa were welcomed by Governor of Istanbul Huseyin Avni Mutlu and other officials in Ataturk International Airport's governmental guest house.
Turkish President Abdullah Gul had paid a visit to Saudi Arabia between October 13 and 17 to perform his Hajj (pilgrimage) prayer, one of the five pillars of Islam, at the invitation of Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, King of Saudi Arabia.
On his last day of the visit, Gul held a meeting with King Abdullah over Turkey-Saudi Arabia's relations in economy, military, security and defense.
