Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan defied a report that appeared on the Wall Street Journal alleging that a deadly strike against civilians in Turkey was linked to intel provided by a US military drone.
"I do not know if the newspaper had assumed a policy of attacking on the government in Turkey or on the Turkish Armed Forces or putting the US administration in a difficult position by broadcasting a fabricated news story," Erdogan told
"As our Armed Forces have announced, the step [for the air strike] was taken after detection by our own drones," Erdogan noted.
