Suspect driver remanded over drug trafficking in southern Adana, Turkey
Turkish police seized more than 250 kilograms (551 pounds) of marijuana in Turkey’s southern Adana province, police said Wednesday.
Acting on a tip, anti-drug squad of police stopped a truck in the Seyhan district.
Police search assisted with a sniffer dog in the truck revealed the smuggled drug.
Driver Danis K., 36, was remanded into custody over alleged drug trafficking charges.
