ANKARA (AA) - September 6, 2012 - Turkish Police began distributing shockproof headgears to journalists in seven provinces, including Ankara, Istanbul and Diyarbakir.
The shockproof headgears are yellow in color and have the words "basın" and "press" on them.
The headgears are designed to protect the journalists from all solid elements.
Turkish Police intend to distribute the shockproof headgears in all 81 Turkish provinces soon.
