Speaking at the dinner, to celebrate Palestine's new status in the United Nations (UN) as a 'non-member observer state', Recep Tayyip Erdogan stressed that they always felt the pain of the Palestinian people in their hearts.
"We have never been silent against the inhumane treatment of the Palestinians," Erdogan underlined.
"The Palestinian issue has been a symbol of the pain that all oppressed societies feel," Erdogan said.
"God willing, we will continue to be on the side of our Palestinian brethren as a nation and a government. We will continue to assume the Palestinian cause as ours," Erdogan noted.
"The international community would have paid their legal and political debt to the Palestinians when Palestine gets admitted into the UN as a full member," Erdogan stressed.
"We will not give up our struggle until the day when the Palestinian flag gets hoisted among the full members of the UN," Erdogan underlined.
"It was a crucial and historic decision of the UN General Assembly to cast 176 'yes' votes to inspect Israel's nuclear weapons facilities. Such a decision will now bring up evaluating certain sanctions in a different way," Erdogan indicated.
"The conditions are not what they used to be (in the region). The conditions have changed. Our region is going through historic changes. If the Israeli administration wants peace, it has to accurately assess the changes," Erdogan said.
"We will continue to provide assistance to Palestine for their development and prosperity," Erdogan expressed.
"11 million Palestinians have the right to live on their territory. Those who deny them such a right will pay the price in front of history and humanity," Erdogan said.
"I would like to address my Palestinian brethren here. Turkey and the Turkish nation are always by you and will continue to do so," Erdogan also said.
