Turkish parliamentary committee head meets Kosovo envoy

ANKARA

Turkish parliament's Foreign Affairs Committee head Volkan Bozkir held a meeting on Wednesday with Kosovo's Ambassador to Ankara Avni Spahiu.

Bozkir also held separate meetings with Norwegian Ambassador Vegard Ellefsen and Serbian Ambassador Zoran Markovic in the Turkish capital Ankara.

Bozkir said his committee aimed at improving relations with Kosovo.

"As the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Turkish parliament, we will visit Kosovo as soon as possible," Bozkir told reporters after the meeting with Kosovo envoy.

Bozkir also held separate meetings with Austrian Ambassador Ulrike Tilly and Australian Ambassador Marc Innes.
