ANKARA (AA) - August 28, 2012 - Turkey's top national security body, the National Security Council, on Tuesday reiterated the country's resolve to fight against terrorism.
"It has been underlined that the fight against terrorism will continue with sensitivity and determination within the confines of the rule of law," said a press statement released after the monthly meeting of the council in the Turkish capital, Ankara.
The statement said it had discussed Syrian regime's continued attacks on Syria and security concerns regarding the ongoing crisis as well, adding that nearly 80 thousand Syrians had taken shelter after fleeing violence in their country.
"The strong determination to eliminate all threats and risks directed to our national security from the ongoing crisis in Syria has been reiterated," the statement said.
