ANKARA (AA) - Turkish Foreign Ministry on Wednesday condemned the mosque bomb attack caused the life of Afghanistan's central Logar province governor, and injured 26 people.
The statement released by the ministry said the attack was especially distressing because it was organized during the Eid al Adha at a holy site.
"We strongly condemn such attacks targeting security and stability of Afghanistan," said the statement adding that Turkey once again expressed solidarity with friendly Afghan people and government.
The governor of Afghanistan's central Logar province was killed on Tuesday when a mosque was bombed during prayers being performed for the Eid al-Adha.
