Turkish lira fell on Thursday to 2.08 level, a historical low against US dollar.
The lira was valued at 2.08 against the USD as of Thursday morning after an earlier recovery to 2.04 level on Wednesday.
USD continued its rally hours after a Fed statement regarding cutting bond buyings in September.
With their emerging markets, Turkey and Indonesia experienced the highest loss in their currencies against the USD.
