Human Rights Investigation Commission of the Turkish parliament visited Monday a Belgium prison after claims that a Turkish prisoner were killed by guardians.
The human rights committee headed by Justice and Development (AK) Party lawmaker Ayhan Sefer Ustun, conducted a three-hour inspection at the Leuven Hulp Prison in Belgium into the suspected killing of the Turkish national, Aziz Karasam.
Ustun said the prison administration had avoided making any statements with a judicial process still underway.
"We well for the autopsy reports to be completed. We want that the allegations are investigated thoroughly and in an objective way."
