ANKARA
Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu spoke with his Iraqi counterpart Hoshyar Zebari over the phone, discussing bilateral relations and particularly cooperation in the energy field, according to diplomatic sources.
It was also reported that, during Davutoglu's recent visit to Iraqi capital Baghdad from November 10 to 11, an agreement had been reached that Turkish Energy and Natural Resources Minister Taner Yildiz would gather with Iraqi interlocutors to discuss all aspects of the issue.
During the meeting, it was noted that Yildiz's visit to Baghdad on Sunday was a timely and beneficial step toward this purpose.
