ISTANBUL
Turkish EU Minister and Chief Negotiator Egemen Bagis met with Dutch Foreign Minister Frans Timmermans in Istanbul on Saturday.
Timmermans is visiting Turkey to attend celebrations marking 400 years of cultural, diplomatic and commercial relations between Turkey and the Netherlands.
After the meeting, Bagis told reporters that they discussed Turkey's EU accession process and Turkish-Dutch relations.
Timmermans said that he hoped that Turkish-Dutch relations would be boosted.
