Turkish Minister of National Education Nabi Avci continues to hold talks in the capital Paris of France where he would attend UNESCO 37th General Conference.
The minister met with Irina Bokova, the Director-General of UNESCO and representatives of various countries.
The meetings were held closed to press during which Turkish-French relations and Turkey's nomination for executive board of UNESCO in 2015 were discussed.
Avci will deliver a speech which evaluates Turkey's view over future of UNESCO on Friday and meet with Turkish teachers and non-governmental organizations on November 9, 2013.
The minister will respond to questions of press members in the aftermath of a participation into a ceremony of the commemoration of Ataturk (the founder of the Turkish Republic) which will be held at Turkey's Embassy in Paris on November 10.
